Darling friend had to burry her 7 yr old son today.

Today was a very sad and hard day. We live out of state and far from them so had no way to attend. We lifted them up in prayer though all day and I know in my heart that darling little Conner Jones is in heaven right now. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=309489892984 prayers please for this family who just lost their 7 yr old son to CF.
Services for him, a Celebration of Conner's life was today. I have posted where people can send a card and prayers for the family by sending them to thier church. If anyone would like to do that I know they'd be grateful.

This was a very hard day for us due to Nathan having cystic fibrosis and being so close in age to Conner. This was his little buddy that we've been praying about for months. I am thankful and also sad. Knowing them is a gift...I hate that they are having such horrible pain though and know there's so many here who've lost a child too. God bless them, and you as well.

Hi, Nathan (2 yr old with very bad cystic fibrosis)right now has a bad staff infection in his lungs. We had to do so many things for him medically that we weren't able to pay our Feb. mortgage. We have most of it, but we are about 500 short. If anyone could help it would be a huge blessing. There is a pay pal at the bottom of Nathan's Web site. Please try to help if you can. www.contrerashome.us Thank you very much.

Hey everyone, we are still needing the financial help with the co-pay's, and right now just making it through the weeks ahead is going to be a real challenge. Someone sent us a small $2.00 donation thru Nathan's pay-pal on his website:www.contrerashome.us and I really appreciated it. If we could get some more help like that, it sure could add up quickly. If you can give anything, it doesn't have to be alot. Please, tell your family and friends, call some of your churches in your area...be as creative as you would feel like being. We just are really trying to get our heads above water. Soul Light did direct us to some great helpful foundations, and sites and I am using those avenues to get some help. But those things will take time before we even hear if they accepted us. So please, try...every little bit is a blessing. Please continue to pass along his website to others....you never know who somone else might know that could really be a blessing. Thank you again for your time and care.

Hey everyone, well so far I have recieved some help with great resources, links to some foundations that help people pay for some past due medical bills, and also was directed to a great networking/support resource for cystic fibrosis.

I just wanted to encourage you to keep trying. Whatever it is that you are going through, nothing has gone unseen by the Lord, and He will always make a way for you, even if it seems there is no way.

God bless you and I just wanted to encourage you not to give up. This world is full of caring and generous people. Money helps fix many situations I know (we need it too) but just remember that this world is temporary, and so is the situation you are in...even if it feels like it's been going on for years, and you haven't had a brake. Just keep praying and know that He is hearing your prayers. His timing it perfect, He is not slow or uncaring...and everything good in your life, truely that is good in your life, it is from the Lord. Don't forget that.

If you ever are frusterated, and just want someone to pray with you, I am here.

If you haven't checked out Nathan's web site yet, please take a minute and do that.  www.contrerashome.us Thank you very much, one of the biggest blessings you can ever do for us, if share our son's story /web site with other people....even if you can't donate personally. You never know who might see it!!God bless you
